Hi, I'm Valon Cengaj, a full-stack web developer.

Currently, at Blue Monkeys as a web developer. Previousely at SoFresh IT Solutions – RINGANA as a full-stack developer, where I was involved in both front-end and back-end development, collaborated closely with the Product Owners and design team to deliver stakeholder requirements on time and with pixel-perfect precision.

Over the years, both as a freelancer and in full-time roles, I’ve gained broad experience across the development stack. On the front end, I’ve worked with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Nuxt, and Tailwind. On the back end, my go-to tools have been PHP, Laravel, Node.js, and NestJS, supported by databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Prisma.

For clients who need scalable and flexible websites, I often use WordPress as a CMS. My experience ranges from building custom themes and plugins to leveraging custom post types and fields, and even using WordPress in headless setups. Lately, I’ve enjoyed designing beautiful interfaces using Tailwind CSS.

A little bit about me

I was born and raised in Prizren, Kosova, in 1996. I grew up playing football, which was my main passion until 2014 when I began studying software engineering and started my first web development internship — that's when my focus shifted and I found another thing I started to love.

In 2018, I got married. In 2019 I moved to Vienna, where I now live with my wife and our two beautiful daughters. Outside of work, I still play football. Hike. Bike. Read. And build lots of Lego!
